Road Trip The Right Way with Jack Williams Tire Summer. It felt like we were never going to get there between the March snow and the raw April temperatures. But, we’ve made it! Well, almost.
Summer doesn’t technically start ‘til June 21, but just a few weeks ago, on Memorial Day, we entered the “unofficial” start to the season.
Winter is finally here…the cold, snow and ice is on the way. Are you and your car ready for adverse conditions? “At Jack Williams, we want to make sure you’re ready before the winter weather hits. It’s always easier – and much more convenient – for drivers to take time ahead of snowfall and icy conditions to check their car,” said Jack Williams’ Director of Training Tom Vose. “We want to make sure your vehicle is road ready and safe. For some drivers that means the right tires. For others that could mean a simple safety check done here – the right way, The Williams Way.” The ‘Right Way’ Winter Checklist
Since the beginning of 2017 Pennsylvania drivers no longer need registration stickers put onto their vehicles license plate. Recently we have heard that some officials are encouraging you to remove them, especially if they are expired.
Winter brings snow. While we know it’s eventually coming, the first snowfall of the season still always brings a few surprises for drivers. While we can’t physically prepare the roads, we can help prepare you and your ride ahead of the winter weather. “We know that the first winter storm isn’t even in the forecast yet but we want to make sure that you’re ready for the roads this winter,” said Jack Williams’ Director of Training Tom Vose.
According to AAA this year a total of more than 44 million people will travel for the 4th of July, and they are expected to travel 50 miles or more. That will make this the most traveled Independence Day since AAA started to keep records.
When getting ready to go on a road trip, we always fill our gas tanks, and make sure that you got an oil change, but do you think of checking your tires? This should be at the top of your list. The tire industry has designated May 28th to June 3rd as National Tire Safety Week, this is to help remind all motorists about the importance of checking your tires.
The Memorial Day weekend is almost here, the first unofficial holiday of summer, so where are you going this weekend? According to reports from AAA 39.3 million Americans are expected to be traveling this weekend. About 35 million travelers are planning to drive. So if you are planning that trip to the state park for a picnic, to the Jersey shore or just over to Aunt Kay’s for a cookout, you are not going to be alone on the roads, the roads are going to be congested as millions of people head out to travel for the Memorial Day weekend.
